DELUSIONAL CORRUPTION

What corruption is happening in NLTB and FHL other than in your own deluded and airy mind? They have nothing that faintly resembles good old, watertight, honest proof of any wrong-doing whatsoever by anybody except the public media crucifixion of successful Fijians. There is absolutely nothing except the statements of finger pointing by bankrupt people like Epeli Ganilau and idiot losers who think like him.The agricultural scam was a crime by civil servants who tried to take advantage of the situation at the time. But even during the SDL reign, people were being tried and sentenced to jail. They still are. Our justice system worked for pete’s sake.

Now the true measure of whether there is any credibility to this public farce, being run on hard-earned public money, is whether the cases of alleged corruption actually end up in court and even so, if it ends up in people actually serving jail time. We all know that it is only meant to remove Fijians in high places who had links to the SDL government. Sa vakaloloma dina. Chaudary must be having the time of his life.

It is public knowledge that this whole shitty clean-up affair is totally based on the Commander’s fear of appearing in the courts for his pending treason trial for the 2004 coup threats against government and what is happening now is only meant to remove people out of spite and jealousy.

Anybody remotely linked to the SDL government is under attack. It does not matter if he is brilliant in what he does and might even be vital for helping Fiji recover from the downward economic slide that it is experiencing. Reason and logic does not exist in the Interim Govt’s world. Nor in the Maras and the Chaudarys. It is time for total vengeance against the Fijian people for their part in removing their dreams of grandeur and to hell with reason and logic is thei mantra.

Seruvakula testified against people who broke the law or who were purported to have broken the law and I agree that no matter who you are, everyone is equal in the eyes of the law. Indeed Fiji soldiers declare and swear allegiance to the Constitution of Fiji, the flag and the government of the day. The army has trashed that solemn commitment totally.

Regarding this debate about whether Bainimarama actually gave the orders to kill those CRW soldiers; it is possible. I was in the army at the time. He was a very, very angry man on the day and given the vindictive nature of the man (he is a very vindictive and determined person and he will vie to get his way by hook or by crook. He personalised everything. One could not isolate professional matters from one’s person in his books - His former colleagues in the navy can attest to this) The only people who could answer this were the soldiers from Gideon Force who have been rewarded with prize UN postings and tours so that they would not be able to be interviewed by Police. The time will come however when those men will return home to roost.

I agree that it is the duty of every soldier to suppress mutiny however, however, once the shooting stops, the Rules of War immediately come into play. Fiji and the RFMF are signatory to the relevant international conventions and should have abided by them. Every single soldier is bound by those conventions. I was actually furious on the day and was raring to wade into those CRW boys in the firefight because they broke a code of honour amongst Fijian soldiers that you will never turn against your own, however, I was still in control of myself and I gave specific orders to my men that if they captured any of the CRW boys, that they were to be treated as prisoners of war. Sadly other officers thought otherwise.

They are nothing more than rebels in uniform now. The RFMF has itself gone the way of the CRW boys and have done exactly what they did but only this time, the mutiny is against the leadership of the nation itself. Every vile act done in the name of dubious honour by George Speight and the misguided throngs in the Parliament complex in 2000 is being replicated by the RFMF.
