EXPERTS SHOCKED AT CMDA & STOCK EXCHANGE SILENCE

WFC financial experts say CMDA and South Pacific Stock Exchange silence in FICAC’s raiding of a publicly listed company show how weak and toothless these institutions are.

“They are suppose to dispel any myth or fear by making an immediate announcement on what action they will take to protect Fiji’s capital market. I’m shocked to learn of their continued silence. I wouldn’t want to buy shares in Fiji. Your capital market watchdog are very weak and need a good shake-up,” said one.

According to another, he said CMDA should immediately suspend FHL from trading to avoid a panic bear’s market.
