Shyster Gets Job

FijiTimesOnline reports as follow:-

Update: 10.34pm FIJI Human Rights Commission Director Dr Shaista Shameem has been named the country’s new Ombudsman.

The appointment was made by the Constitutional Offices Commission (COC).

COC chairman Rishi Ram confirmed Dr Shameem’s appointment following the endorsement by interim Prime Minister Commander Voreqe Bainimarama.

Dr Shameem is expected to take up her appointment in a month’s time.

She will replace Rodney Acraman who is presently acting in the position.

Why are we not suprised by this?

The fact that everyone in Fiji predicted weeks ago that this would happen is a testament to the rampant corruption and nepotism in the IG.

It is also a testament to the fact that the IG simply don’t care about how the people in Fiji (and internationally) view them. The members of the IG (and its supporters) will just ENRICH themselves all the same at the expense of the taxpayers of this country.

They believe there is no accountability in Fiji so they can basically do whatever the hell they want, without fear of repucussions - legal or otherwise.

And while that might be the case right now with the military watching their back(sides), they would do well to remember that what goes around ALWAYS comes around.

They WILL be accountable for their actions, if not in this life then in the next.

The one thing we can at least be hopeful for is that the FHRC may now get a more competent and fair director to replace that peroxyde blonde biiiaaatch!
