JIM AHKOY CHINA APPOINTMENT A BIG PLUS TO HIS BUSINESS EMPIRE

Jim AhKoy is a seasoned opportunist. His latest move to lobby himself in for the Ambassor to China job is a strategic move from a strategic business player.

As Fiji’s first citizen in China, he will be exposed to many political and business opportunities. His many businesses thrived when he was Minister Finance for SVT. He was instrumental in directing businesses to his empire with the power he had then. Things have been pretty quiet and not soo rosy after that.

Now, with his new diplomatic role in China, he will obviously be given the red carpet treatment to wheel and deal and inject the much needed new business opportunities with manufacturers, suppliers and other value-chain providers involved in his many lines of business back home.

Expect his company executives to be given VIP treatment at the Fiji Head of Mission office and Ambassadorial home whilst attending business meetings organised by Ambassador Jim. Fiji’s Chinese Head of Mission office will now become another AhKoy Inc.
