THE HYPOCRITICAL IG

The militarisation of every significant body in the country is already taking place rapidly. Why not just abrogate the constitution now and let’s have martial law. Whoever thought that one day our nation would be run by the military regime by illegally taking over an elected government. Guns and money would be the rule and power.

Well. it is happening in our very eyes. And what a sad site to see. Why send your children to school when they can become fiji’s prime minister or in government without attaining academic qualifications for the job. All you need is a few practices at the rifle range and backed by some money from a few businessmen and you are on your way to success.

It is so hypocritical what we are witnessing, when on one hand the IG are giving an impression of wanting to build a better fiji while on the other hand we are displaying to the younger generation an uncivilised way of fixing our problems. The civil servants are now planning for a strike. It is my prayer and hope that this sad and painful situation will soon cease. So i pray help us oh God in this time of need!
