Lawyers Congregating At Airport

graham-leung11.jpg Former FLS President, Graeme Leung

FM96 News is reporting that a group of about 10 lawyers are congregating at the Nadi International Airport in support of Graeme Leung.

Mr Leung is under a Watch List and has been prevented from leaving the country. This happened after he returned from the LAWASIA Conference held in Hong Kong earlier this year.

Mr Leung is intending to travel to Sydney, Australia this hour.

HnC sources have confirmed that the lawyers are there to offer their moral (and legal support) to Mr Leung.

They are there to ensure that Mr Leung is afforded all his freedoms under the Constitution and the law, including his freedom of movement.

Not suprisingly, Fiji Human Rights Commission Director, Shyster Shamimi, is nowhere to be seen.

FijiVillage reports that Illegal Attorney General, I-Arse Khiyum, will make a statement within the next hour. You can read that news brief here.
