Fiji Visitors Bureau CEO, Bill Gavoka, has called it a day by bowing out of his top job. And WFC says - good on you Bill for not allowing yourself to be used and abused by this illegal regime.

The Cuvu, Nadroga lad is commonly known as the most successful FVB CEO who grew Fiji’s tourism industry to a record high, one that will be very hard to beat given Fiji’s tendency to be gang-raped by these tyrants like Frank and his coup clux clan whenever they feel the urge.

Under Bill’s leadership, the tourism industry broke new grounds when he went charging for his $1billion 2007 industry target set by the ousted SDL government. The visitor arrivals growth trend he achieved year after year was phenomenal and he was most certainly heading towards achieving his overly stretched $1billion target, but unfortunately for Bill and the Tourism industry, local terrorists in the form of Frank’s coup clux clan detonated their explosive bombs shying most tourists away from Fiji’s shores.
